Approximately 1,058 women producers, restaurateurs, wine shop\nowners, sommeliers, journalists and wine experts throughout Italy are part of\nthis association. The president of this association for the years 2023\/2025 is\nDaniela Mastoberardino. The previous president was Donatella Cinelli Colombini\nwho gave impetus to important initiatives. Donatella at the end of last year\nwith the help of the good PR. Maddalena Mazzeschi organized a tasting of 12\nsweet wines from Tuscany at her company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Journalist Gianni Fabrizio conducted the\ntasting which was very interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the occasion, Donatella presented her\nPassito B10 wine from Traminer grapes, 2018 vintage, designed and created by\nher husband Carlo Gardini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this tasting each producer presented\ntheir own sweet wine. After this very pleasant and interesting tasting, a\ndelicious lunch followed, again inside the company, accompanied by Donatella&#8217;s\nwines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My tasting notes for the sweet wines follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FATTORIA ALDOBRANDESCA\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Aleatico Sovana Doc Superiore, 2022 vintage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(grape: 100% Aleatico) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bottles produced n. 8,592<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It has a ruby \u200b\u200bred and light purple appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the glass rise aromas of dried dates, cooked cherries, mint,\neucalyptus, starch from cotton fabric, dried plum, natural tea, red rose, jute,\nblack pepper, hints of nutmeg to finish with whiffs of almond shell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the palate it feels a little fizzy, it has a medium, sufficient body\nand a good balance between alcohol and freshness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tannins are sweet, not broad (4\/6++) and velvety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wine with a pleasant sweetness but lacking a bit of concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its taste persistence is long.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;                      &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>(89\/100)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FATTORIA LE PUPILLE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SOLALTO IGT TUSCANY <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>White passito, 2019 vintage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(grape variety: 34% S\u00e9millon, 33% Traminer and 33% Sauvignon)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bottles produced n. 2,100<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amber yellow colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The typical scent of wood immediately stands out on the nose,\npersonified by the &#8220;After eight&#8221; chocolate (chocolate and\nconcentrated mint), hints of dried apricot and ending with the note of mint\nwhich reminds me of hard mint (sugar cane soaked in mint). .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the palate it has a medium balanced body, there is a hint of\nmalolactic fermentation and acetic acid. Rich freshness that completely covers\nthe alcoholic mass, making the wine well balanced. Its taste persistence is\nlong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was told by a person who works in this company that this wine does not make wood but only steel. How is it possible that it has these woody scents?. I was very skeptical.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>(88\/100)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BANFI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LORUS\nMOSCADELLO DI MONTALCINO D.O.C.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Late harvest, 2019\nvintage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(grape variety: 100% Moscadello)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1,900 bottles produced<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shines full golden yellow light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olfactory mix made of scents of fresh celery and fennel, acacia honey,\ndried apricot, saffron, LPG gas, finishing with caresses of chamomile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon tasting it shows a medium body and an imperfect balance of taste,\nin fact there is a very slight swing between alcohol and freshness and you can\nfeel the upper gum burning slightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sweet wine but in a well-measured way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its taste persistence is long and not concentrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Better on the nose than on the taste.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;                           &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>(90&#8211;\/100)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DONATELLA\nCINELLI COLOMBINI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Organic\nPassito from Traminer Aromatico grapes <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IGT Toscana, 2018 vintage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(grape variety: 100% aromatic Traminer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bottles produced n. 364 of 0.375 lit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Light brick colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Articulated on the nose in intense tones of dried date, dried fig, jute,\namber, rose water (Roberts), chamomile, almond shell, licorice and milk toffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the palate it reveals an intense, mellow sweetness and a good balance\nbetween alcohol and freshness. The body is medium plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its intense aromatic persistence is long. Very concentrated wine that could have needed a little more acidity. The olfactory journey continues with notes of almond shell\nand chamomile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mouth with good freshness which completely silences the alcoholic mass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The body is medium and the wine has flavors of dried fig, dried date and\ncaramel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its long persistence the flavors already felt immediately remain.
